Asami’s Project (non-story form)

Asami would have set her alarm for 9am, per her father’s request, and entered Jasper’s number into her phone, and attempted to sleep. After mulling things over for a bit, she would get back up, and work on an art project to gift to Dave the following day on his release from being grounded, as an apology gift. It would be painted on a small canvas. I’ve included pics to best represent what she would have painted for him (see below).

The dragon holding the pearl would be the main focus. On the left side of the canvas, in kanji, are the characters for the seven samurai virtues, and in the lower right corner would be her signature, in both kanji and written normally. She’d set aside the canvas to try overnight, then print out a slip of paper explaining what the kanji meant, also including a hand written note explaining that she can see these qualities growing/emerging within him, before hand writing a letter, in English. The letter would read as follows:

Dave,

I’m sorry.

You’re one of the few I’ve always been up front with, and I didn’t think of how what I had to say might hurt you. You don’t deserve to feel like I made you feel last night – you’re an amazing guy, and you need to know it, from me.

I hope you can forgive me, and I’d like to make amends. You’re too important of a person to lose and I hate myself for causing you pain. If you’ll still have me, I would like to see our relationship blossom more.

Love,

Asami
