A sealed manila envelope is left for Charles at the youth center, on his desk in the office. Three pieces of paper are contained within, held together via paperclip – the top sheet of paper is a note.
Hey Sexy,
You weren’t in, so I thought I’d leave this for you here. You said to come up with some designs for your specials, so I did a little research and came up with two designs for you. If you don’t like them, I can re-do them. But here is what research I found, based on symbology used.
The AnkhThe ankh is the symbol of eternal life. Strong believers in life beyond death, the Egyptians held that the ankh protected them in the passage to the afterlife.
The ScarabFor Egyptians, the hardy and playful scarab was the symbol of spontaneity and rebirth.
The following pages are an ankh design, and a scarab design. Let me know which you like, if either, and I’ll set it aside for your specials.
