Adam,
I would like to apologize for my uncharacteristic behavior while in Elysium. I let me anger get the better of me, and shouted unnecessarily. My silence in your office was uncalled-for as well, in my opinion. I ask that you forgive me for these transgressions.
If you’ll allow me, I would like to that this time to express my opinions and explain myself.
You have concerns that I have put out some elder vampires for my own problems. While true, I did not ask this of them, and these problems should be between them and I to resolve.
In your office, I did not speak up after you had brought up killing Alyssa. I would again like to apologize for that, but I found myself frozen, if you will, due to a PTSD episode at the time. Continuing, I feel it was unnecessary for you to call for her death, when she is an innocent, simply because I want to keep mortal ties for now – Alex taught me that maintaining mortal connections might be the best way to retain my humanity, though he cautioned me on that as well.
Returning to Alyssa, I will not now, or ever, kill the woman who saved my life if it is within my power to do so. That being said, thank you for rescinding the order, and for removing the Damocles condition on myself and Ryan.
Sincerely,
Nick Jackson
